Facebook will now allow you to schedule posts
All new social media addicts sooner or later realize that social media takes time. In order to farm leads online, you need to plant the seeds on a regular basis and above all do so on all fronts.
Having said that, programs like Hootsuite and MarketmeSuite have allowed social media junkies to schedule their tweets and/or posts. This would mean that you would essentially post all interesting articles a week at a time or a few days at a time. Facebook has recognized that this is an accepted practice and has incorporated this feature into its interface.
So how does that work...
1. Posting articles and scheduling articles:
Post status update as you usually would. Then before you hit the 'Post' button, click on the timer button as highlighted above. This will allow you to pick the date and time that you wish to make the post live. Then on the selected day and time, voila, your post is live!
2. To see what posts have been scheduled so far, you can can use the 'Activity Log' option:
When logged in your business page, click on the 'Admin Panel', then click on 'Edit Page' option. Now click on 'Use Activity Log', you will see the list of messages you have stacked for future publishing.
Needless to say, this will not stop Hootsuite and other social media management tools a reason to stop using them, however if your priority platform is only Facebook, then you have what you are looking for right at your finger tips!
And there, now you have full control on your Facebook business page and the posts that you can manage on there!
Enjoy!!
